Angola 0-0 Cameroon: Palancas Negras Hold Mighty Indomitable Lions
Next year’s Africa Cup of Nations hosts, Angola, continued their build-up for the tournament with a heart-warming goalless draw against one of Africa’s top sides Cameroon at the Estadio Jose Arcanjo in Portugal on Wednesday night. Both sides had chances to get on the scoreboard in this friendly but in the end a mix of good defending and poor finishing would deny them. Angola’s confidence was earlier lifted at the weekend when they defeated European minnows Malta 2-1 in another friendly in Portugal. Next month, the Palancas Negras will take on the Black Stars of Ghana in another warm-up match ahead of the 2010 Nations Cup, which kicks off in January. The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon used this match to prepare for next month’s all-important World Cup qualifier away in Morocco. The Cameroonians, now under Frenchman Paul Le Guen, need a result in North Africa if they are to fend off closest rivals Gabon in the race to South Africa 2010.

The host of the 2010 nations cup have proof to be a side to count o,i truely believe Angola has come out of age as concerns football in africa.i watched them in germany during the last world cup they were not bad,but to stop a team like the lions of Africa then i must count them to creat record in their home ground in Angola.
If I am not mistaken, Cameroon played with some kinda team B …?
If you look at our team, there is no player in the team who is qualify for team A or B. For me our 22 players are equal in strength and any of them can play in the first team.
well the game wasn’t bad but the players need to work very hard in other to beat Morocco an qualify.I will love my country to play at the world cup
its usually deficult to watch crtv through this site please improve this site something needs to be done.
