This unending desperation to go west/abroad sickens me in my afterlife. In any case, about this story, I have a question ... Why had the DNA testing been tuned out from the onset, and reliance based on mere birth certificates which could be forged?

So why do you still stay in places where even rats are treated better than you? Is it God who put you there? You have a beautiful country, and you could return and fix it so that you would spare yourself the disgrace of not even knowing if you have a right to live. I get sick and tired of hearing lazy Africans complaining in despair all the time, as if somebody forces them to leave their countries. The fact is that as long as you chosed to live in the white man's country, you'll always be treated differently. By the way, do Anglophones not get discriminated against in Cameroon too? You guys should stop crying, and stop sounding like a bunch of desperate people. Rubbish.

The problem in Cameroon is not in the eating but who is eating. When one is eating(enjoying favours from the regime) nothing is wrong but the day he falls out of favour and is like the rest of Cameroonian, it is only then he see all the evil.
what is the use of education if not to give such a person souvereignty of mind! a mind that is fear free, a mind that cannot be manipulated. In Cameroon these educated people do not have this souverienty of mind. they sing the praises of an individual and swear by him
If you are educated and is being manipulated just because you need food then you are a danger to you community. Educated people in Cameroon are leaving i think because their so call educated bothers in government are a disgrace to education.
However, is there not something we can do that we do not one to do. Fear and lack or information in any society will make that society vulnerable to manipulation and that is Cameroon

Need not flame out , bro!
He earned his Ph.D , so he's got the right to use it how he pleases.
BTW, You are right about China.
I've been in this place for years now , and it's amazing how this country progresses.
The Cameroon Gov't needs to create such conducive environment to encourage small businesses .. among other things.
But first , we , Cameroonians, must change our own bad ways . Change must start from within us.
